Rocks+ was designed from the ground up to manage public and private clouds using a simple, consistent paradigm. Local servers are automatically grouped into a private cloud by using the Xen Roll. Public clouds can be grouped into Virtual Clusters (VCs) and individually defined Virtual Machines (VMs) by choosing the AWS Roll.
